This photo looks like a painting. The colours are surreal. I can't wait to see more photos from you. I hope to visit Japan one day and soak up the beauty of Japanese nature, but in the mean time I will enjoy the beauty through your gorgeous pictures.

Welcome back to Japan, Skye!

Isn't Matsumoto like the best place with such a genuine doctor-turned-mayor? How long are you gonna be there for this time?

Yay! I'm so happy that your blog is back! I can't wait to see your photos from Canada. I'm also dreaming of hot summer nights but it seems it's just a dream in the UK. :)

Thank you Kaho (and sorry for not responding sooner, I'm way behind on answering comments - and reading blogs! It feel like ages since I've had a chance to pop over and see what you're doing).

For some reason it's impossible for me to not do something in this case. I just wish I could do more.

Skye, what a beautiful photo and how thoughtful you are to help Japan by giving away the proceeds of your photos!! That is so touching. Thank you for helping out Japan. I wish I could let the people in the hardest hit area know all the wonderful acts people are doing to help them out. I think that will cheer them up. Thank you for your kind gesture. Kaho

I love how you use metaphor of inspiration as a substitute of the sunshine just like Vitamin D. What a wonderful opportunity you had to meet with the people at Action Village India. (I like the design of their website.) I also checked out a few photos of Talor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize. I would love to go to the National Portrait Gallery to see them in person. They look incredible even online, I cannot imagine how it would be like to see them in person.
